BBS Observation

Objective: Behavior Based Safety (BBS), is a process that informs management and employees of the overall safety of the workplace. BBS is intended to focus workers' attention on their own and their peers' daily safety behavior.

Below steps to be followed to manage BBS Observation in a plant:

  1. BBS Observation Plan : Create an BBS Observation plan and assign to observer.
  2. Conduct BBS Observation : BBS Observation is conducted by observer to whom observation is assigned.

Note :

  • Plant EHS Head, Plant EHS Manager will plan for the BBS Observation.
  • Any employee can be selected as an observer.

BBS OBSERVATION PLAN

  1. Login as Plant EHS Head, Plant EHS Manager and go to BBS Observation | BBS Observation Planner screen. (Image 1)
  2. Select Year.
  3. Click “Add Observer” button to select observer and enter number of observations in each month against the observation.
  4. Click “Submit” button to save and Observation plan.
  5. BBS Observation will be populated in “My Actions” screen to whom observation is assigned.

Note :

  • Plant EHS Head, Plant EHS Manager will create BBS observation plan.
  • Any employee can be selected as an observer.
